Cruise Utrecht
Sailing routes
'Beautiful cruise on the Utrecht canals of 1.5 hours, 2.5 hours or 3 hours including skipper, you can bring your own snacks and drinks or we will provide a delicious package .
The best way to get to know the city is from the water. Even if you have been coming to Utrecht for years, you will gain many new impressions and fully enjoy the area. We offer three beautiful boat trips as standard, but of course it is possible to sail to parts of the city or beyond that are not included in these routes. We are talking about a beautiful trip on the Kromme Rijn or towards the Muntkade. Unique places if you choose to sail longer. These are our two favorite cruises in the city.
The Oudegracht and Oostelijke Singel – duration 1.5 hours – most popular tour
How beautiful Utrecht is! During this tour you will discover all our favorite places in Utrecht. After boarding we sail quietly towards the most beautiful canal in the Netherlands, the Oudegracht. Quite an experience with the unique quay walls, special canal houses and vibrant terraces. Halfway along the Oudegracht we sail under the town hall to view the Utrecht icon the Dom Tower from the most beautiful angle with the Vismarkt in the foreground. We will leave the crowds behind for a beautiful dreamy view of the canal. The bridges follow each other with a beautiful view from the water. The moment to all capture this day with a group photo on the foredeck. After choosing your favorite dream house on Twijnstraat aan de Werf, we wave goodbye to the jealous terrace goers on the Ledig Erf and sail towards the Tolsteegsingel. From the water you experience a beautiful green oasis, where herons and coots live and sports enthusiasts are jogging. Some highlights we pass are the Central Museum, ex-prison Wolvenplein and Sonnenborgh observatory. This is easily the most booked cruise in Utrecht and we understand why!
The Utrecht figure eight – duration 2.5 hours – the city center complete
The Utrecht Eight gives you a complete picture of the Utrecht city center in which you can view the Oudegracht no less than twice! The first round of this figure of eight is the round discussed earlier. However, you will now return to the Oudegracht for a second time to also discover the reopened Catherijnesingel! Utrecht has worked hard for years to reopen the Catherijnesingel and this was achieved at the end of 2020. This makes it possible to sail under the new Hoog Catherijne and view the prestigious Karel V from the water. Time on the water flies by and this cruise gives you enough time to gain all the experiences and also enjoy your company. In our opinion, the perfect activity to enjoy with friends, family or company
'I cannot recommend these guys highly enough - the 5 of us had a brilliant 1.5 hour trip around the canals of Utrecht. The boat is really comfortable and spacious, we were provided with bowls and glasses for our nibbles and drinks, and the welcome bubbles were delicious! Bryan was the perfect host - he knew when to tell us interesting facts and when to let us chat on. I only wish we'd booked a longer trip! Thanks guys, you have a great thing going here!'
